Stitch a bird for Peace
While I was away in Norway a couple of weeks ago I went to an exhibition in Eidford of a Peace project that is organised between two women - a Norwegian and a lady for the Gaza Strip.
They are inviting people to stitch a bird for peace and send it in to become part of the touring exhibition. The exhibition already has quite a lot of birds stitched by all ages and abilities. Here are a few of my favourites.
I collected a pack which contained needle, embroidery threads and a piece of fabric and spent all my free time at sea sewing my bird.
It is finished and I am Just about to send it to Norway. Here she is (needs an iron!):
